 Welcome to Cy's Nest!  Cy's Nest is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a short walk to Jack Trice stadium, Hilton Coliseum or other ISU events. Centrally located in Ames you will find easy access to all of the area's attractions. The Nest will be your home away from home while in Ames.

    About Us

    Cy's Nest features luxury linens and bath towels, a fully stocked kitchen including a Keurig coffee machine and a traditional drip coffee maker, living room with a 58" 4K smart TV to watch the pregame shows, 1G high speed internet for all of your devices and streaming, 4 bedrooms on second floor all with queen beds, a play room for the little ones (Pack n Play available) and two bathrooms. Main Floor bathroom features double vanity and a bathtub/shower. Second floor bathroom is compact 3/4 bathroom. Enjoy watching the world go by on the porch while sipping your morning coffee.

    The Details

    Location

    You will love the location of Cy's Nest. Centrally located in Ames and only a 1 minute walk from the bus route, the city is at your doorstep. If you are headed to any ISU events you will be thrilled with the easy 10 minute walk to Jack Trice or Hilton.  Please note the home has parking space for one vehicle. The garage is not included in the rental space. On-street parking is available but can be very difficult to obtain on game days. 

    Accessibility

    As your reservation approaches you will be provided with a unique 4 digit keyless entry code making check in a breeze!  Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11 am.  Depending on our schedule we may be able to accommodate early or late check out, occasionally additional fees will apply. 


    Cy's Nest is not handicap accessible.  There are three steps to access the front door and all of the bedrooms are located on the second level of the home.


    Cy's Nest is located in a  residential part of Ames and is equipped with Ring security cameras in the front and back of the home. 

    Outdoor Spaces

    For your enjoyment Cy's Nest has a glider bench and a bistro table with two chairs on the front porch.  In the backyard you will find a gas grill and a patio table with four chairs. Additional camping chairs can be found in the entry closet for your convenience. 

    Cy's Nest Rules

    We kindly ask that you remove your shoes while in the home.    


    This is a smoke free home, feel free to smoke outside. 


    Please note that this is a residential community, not a hotel. Please treat the space and the neighbors with respect.  


    This is a pet free property.  


    Please kindly wash and put away any dishes used before departure.  


    We love the companionship of friends and family but parties in the home are not allowed. All guests must be registered, 3rd party bookings are not permitted (the person who books must be present at check in and stay through the duration of the booking).
